I coach people to achieve lasting improvements in their health and fitness.
We’ll work together to build an individual and sustainable approach to movement, nutrition, and overall lifestyle. Forget “falling off the wagon”, chasing secret training methods or fad diets.
We're heading towards strategic effort and smart choices, with repeated small actions compounding into major, lasting results. Consistency over intensity.
Let’s keep this simple. Together, we’ll work toward better health, improved fitness, and lasting change using straightforward, effective methods that actually work. No quick fixes, no fads — just real strategies to help you move forward. And if you remove the wagon, there’s nothing to fall off.
Coaching
From busy parents and ex-rugby players to seniors and individuals with learning difficulties, I train people from all walks of life and from any starting point. Whilst many share similar goals, and we adopt universal training and diet principles - there is no single approach. In my experience, those most willing to learn, rather than just receive instruction, make the most progress and sustainable change.
I ensure our 1-1 training sessions are effective and efficient. That's both the physical training and our conversations. There’s plenty of effort and decent amounts of fun, targeted towards steady progress and consistent results. Again, anyone can be told what to do and achieve a result. I favour a client / coach relationship where together we learn what works for you.
We create an ever-moving and evolving strategy for diet, exercise, wider activity, and lifestyle. I'm right next to you - a constant source of strategy, advice, motivation and accountability.
Planning & Programming
You need a plan. A plan and strategy for our sessions, and a map for when you go solo. We agree some structure to your week, establishing patterns of low-intensity activity as well as your independent training. We'll work together on your food; confirming what you intuitively already know, whilst removing misinformation , bro-science and fad type approaches.
Weight Training
In my view, the most `bang for your buck’ is through resistance training. It builds strength, boosts metabolism, keeps bones strong, improves mobility and co-ordination, and is the most effective tool we have to change body composition and get in shape. Confidence and wellbeing go through the roof.
Mobility & 360 Core
Move better, feel better. Mobility and core work keeps you limber, fights off stiffness and bullet proofs against injury. Your increased range of movement translates directly into everyday life and a more functional, able and pain-free you. Strong backs, powerful tummies.
Conditioning
You must build your engine. We know that cardiorespiratory fitness and V02 max are key to long-term health. I train people towards first 5k, 10k, and half marathons, but also get them ready for sports such as rugby, rowing and netball. You would have read about metabolic health and your bodies ability to use energy effectively – we’ll get right into the heart of that through our conditioning work.

Support in a Gym Environment
With over two years of experience working one-to-one with individuals with special educational needs, including autism, I understand the unique challenges these incredible individuals face. In a nutshell? I pick up, we go to the gym, and I drop off home again.
Much like being a Dad and rugby coach, my aim is to create a supportive and caring environment, with structure and discipline at the right level. I need to balance emotional wellbeing with an eye on pushing towards potential. Friendly yet focused. I help my guys gain confidence and make real progress both physically and socially. We train in a very usual gym setting, saying hello and rubbing shoulders with fellow gym users.
